Chapter Nine

A few days later Daisy received a package with Richard’s return address. She immediately marked it return to sender and dropped it off at the post office. She was doing well in her new relationship with Jethro and didn’t need any specters from the past causing trouble.

When a few weeks passed with no further contact attempts Daisy relaxed, feeling that she’d made the right decision not involving Jethro.

Daisy was happy and she’d been much more focused at work and had actually gone two whole weeks without getting in trouble with her daddy.
